Announcing the She-Devil Comedy Festival! October 24-28 in NYC.
The She-Devil Comedy Festival seeks to honor and reward the artists that most personify The Art of Comedy, while celebrating and helping further the long tradition of women in comedy.
Created by the same people behind Laughing Skull and Laughing Devil festivals, the She-Devil Festival is combination competition/celebrity headliner event centered at the Laughing Devil with additional shows at Broadway Comedy Club, Gotham Comedy Club, and more. The festival will also feature a private roof party, an art gallery party, museum tours, industry panels, and more events TBA.
The winner gets at least $2000 (the prize package is growing as we add sponsors) and paid work from various clubs – and the judges are all decision makers in the industry. The audiences will be filled with agents, managers, bookers, casting directors and more. At our festival, all three Letterman bookers attended the finals.
